Submission Guidelines

We invite submissions from all disciplines that utilize BEAR services, High Performance Computing, and AI in their research. Presentations should ideally incorporate responsible AI usage by embracing AI with Integrity and consider Ethical implications for AI, but do not necessarily need to be limited to this. For more information, see the UKRIO guideline on embracing AI with integrity.

Oral Presentations

• Long Talk: 15 mins presentation + 5 mins Q&A.
• Lightning Talk: 5 mins presentation, perfect for early-stage research.
• Prizes for "Best Long Talk" & "Best Lightning Talk" courtesy of Lenovo & NVIDIA.

Poster Presentations

• Format: A1 Portrait.
• Displayed in Old Gym hall during lunch break
• If you have a poster already printed prease bring it! The BEAR Conference Committee will also provide poster printing if needed - contact us to arrange this.
• Prizes for "Best Poster" courtesy of UoB School of Computer Science.
